You can't force people to buy faster!

Why "more" when talking budget doesn't translate to "faster".

One of the most obvious yet misunderstood concepts in online marketing is the time it can take for a conversion to occur.

Many factors can influence this process. Seeing a product on Amazon, for example, benefits from Amazon’s established brand trust. We trust Amazon -> trust transfers to the product (plus, we might have a strong need for that product) -> we buy, often without even researching the brand. In many other cases, the process of buying varies depending on the product's value (like a car) or its personal significance (like a product for our children).

When starting marketing with little to no brand awareness, we can't expect sales from a small investment, a couple of days of ads on Facebook or Google and no research.

First, we need to understand our CUSTOMER AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE PRODUCT. This is a foundational pillar of my process, and without it, success would depend solely on luck (and luck isn’t easy to scale or replicate).

So, the next time you hear someone say, "I wasted $2000 on Google ads," it’s likely they didn’t do their homework or misunderstood the basics of online marketing.

Now, as for expediting conversions, it’s possible to guide customers toward buying faster. Actually, what you can do is helping them understand your product's and brand's value SOONER which can lead to a sale.
